How to Post Images in the Gallery

Any individual may post images to the gallery. If you are a member of the forums, it is strongly suggested that you log-in before uploading files to ensure you receive proper credit. If you are not a member and wish to join, you can register in the forums.

All uploaded images will be approved by the Webmaster before they actually appear in the gallery. Please be aware that approval may take up to month. The Webmaster reserves the right to reject any submission. Uploaded images that do not follow the guidelines listed below may be rejected.

Please do not upload images already appearing on this website.

Uploading Images Step by Step Direction

1. If you are a registered member of the forums, please ensure you log-on before you continue. Non-members, please proceed to Step 2.

2. On the main gallery page, click "Upload File".

2. A new screen should appear. Simply hit the Browse button to locate the file on your hard drive to upload. You may upload up to 10 files at a time. Once you've completed this, hit the CONTINUE button.

3. You will see a page stating that your file(s) upload was successful, hit the CONTINUE button. If you do not see this screen, your upload did not work so please go back to Step 2.

4. On the next screen accomplish the following:

• Album: Choose the correct album from the drop-down box
• File title: Please enter the full designation of unit in sentence case (i.e. - first letter capitalized, remainer of letters lower case). Do not use abbreviations or put any additional information! Example: "123d Tactical Fighter Wing" or "234th Armament and Electronics Maintenance Squadron"
• File description: You may add additional information about the patch here. Items such as the emblem significance statement or information on the time period the patch comes from are highly encouraged.
• Keywords: Leave blank
• Inscription: Type ALL words, phrases and numbers exactly as they appear on the patch. See the example below. If the patch has no inscription, please type "none".
• Base: Type the full name of the base and the state/country it is located. Example: "McChord AFB, Washington" or "RAF Chicksands, United Kingdom". Standard abbreviations such as "AFB", "AFS" or "AB" may be used, otherwise do not use abbreviations.
• Lineage and Honors: Leave blank

After you have filled-in all appropriate fields, hit the CONTINUE button. If you've uploaded more than one file, you'll repeat this step for each image.

5. You should now get a screen that states all the images were placed successfully. That's it! Uploaded images will be approved within one month.
