   9th Airborne Command and Control Squadron
[b]Emblem Significance:[/b] The shield is placed on a disc shaped field of golden yellow, bordered with ultramarine blue symbolizing the Air Force colors. The displayed eagle, located on the honor point of the shield, portrays the "Sentinel for Survival," carrying the squadron standard in beak and talons grasping lightning bolts signifying the energy to communicate while flying. The sphere occupying the middle base of the field, with superimposed communication towers, depicts the globe and the ability to communicate worldwide while airborne. At the base of the shield is the scroll on which the squadron designation, 9th ACCS (9th Airborne Command and Control Squadron) may be placed.
